Book Description
Hook, stakes, and reader promise above the “Read more” fold, formatted with KDP-supported HTML.

We optimize every part of your Amazon product page (description, keywords, categories, A+ Content, and Author Central) so shoppers find your book, click it, and buy it. Everything stays within KDP's metadata rules, so your listing is never at risk.

Amazon book listing optimization improves the parts of your product page that decide whether shoppers find and buy your book: the description (up to 4,000 characters), up to seven KDP keywords, up to three categories, A+ Content, your Author Central profile, and price. A well-optimized listing raises discovery and conversion, which also makes Amazon Ads cheaper per sale.
Up to 4,000 characters, HTML counts
Up to 7 keywords or short phrases
Up to 3 per book
h4–h6 only; h1–h3 not supported
KDP has a zero-tolerance policy for metadata meant to mislead or promote. These rules shape every listing we write.

Book cover design
It's improving everything on your Amazon product page that affects whether shoppers find and buy your book: the description, KDP keywords, categories, A+ Content, Author Central profile, and price, while following KDP's metadata rules.
KDP allows up to 4,000 characters, and HTML tags count toward that limit. Supported formatting includes paragraphs, line breaks, bold, italic, underline, lists, and headings from h4 to h6. Headings h1 to h3 are not supported.
KDP lets you add up to seven keywords or short phrases. Avoid repeating words already in your title or categories, other authors' names, quality claims, time-sensitive words like "new," and Amazon program names such as Kindle Unlimited.
Authors can select up to three categories per book in their primary marketplace. The older option of requesting up to ten categories is no longer available, and Amazon may adjust a book's categories.
No. KDP's description guidelines don't allow reviews, quotes, or testimonials, requests for reviews, contact details or URLs, pricing or availability information, time-sensitive information, or emojis in the description.
A+ Content adds images, comparison charts, and formatted text below the description on your book's Amazon page. Authors create it through the KDP marketing tools, and it's useful for showing a series, illustrations, or what readers will learn.
No one can guarantee sales. A stronger listing typically improves how often shoppers click and buy, which also makes any advertising more efficient. We measure before and after so you can see the change.
Not necessarily. We can deliver everything as ready-to-paste copy and files for you to enter, or work with you on a screen-share. You keep full control of your account.
